May 5th, 1995, a storm took everyone I loved away from me: my parents, 2-year-old daughter, fianceè, and 11- year-old nephew. I was the only one who survived. What began as an evening out on the town with my family, ended tragically. Since that time, I've fought depression, suicidal thoughts, anger. I died inside. There are questions I may never be able to answer, but what I do know for sure is that God allowed me to be here to share my story. I know what it feels like to lose everything.
