On May 5th, 1995 a storm swept through Dallas, Texas. My family and I were on our way to dinner. We attempted to drive across a bridge that was flooded with water. This caused our car to stall. Before we could get out of the car it was tossed into a creek. My mother, father, two-year-old daughter, eleven-year-old nephew, and fiancée all lost their lives that day but I alone survived. Within the same year my brother went to prison and my grandfather passed. A few years later I lost my grandmother. The remainder of my family turned against me. My friends walked away. This is my testimony.

God has called me to share this story with you. I had never gone through anything in my life. Never had I suffered the loss of a loved one. Through this devastating time in my life I sought My Father above for the strength that I needed to survive this storm. This journey has been painful but God has been my healer and comforter.

I Although you may feel that you cannot go on, I assure you that if you hold on God will see you through. Know this, if He did it for me He will do it for you.
